The summer travel season has kicked off at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN), with airlines reporting a surge in demand for reservations during the Memorial Day holiday period and throughout the summer. Travelers can expect increased activity at the airport beginning Thursday, May 23. 

Be sure to check your flight status at www.iFlyJackson.com or with your respective airline. Passengers are encouraged to arrive at least two (2) hours before their flight departure to allow ample time for check-in and security procedures. While at JAN, stay connected with iFlyJAN_WiFi, and to enhance the passenger experience, customers are reminded of the food and beverage offerings in the main terminal and in the East and West Concourses. 

Important JAN parking rate updates, beginning June 3, are as follows: 

• Economy Lot at $13 per day (remote lot, with frequent, nonstop shuttle buses) 
• Surface Lot at $17 per day (quick walk into the JAN terminal) 
• Garage at $19 per day (at the JAN terminal) 
• Cellphone lot is free; first 10 minutes in lots are free; Hourly Parking is $5 per hour 

Parking availability notifications will be updated throughout this period. Shuttle service is provided for customers parked in the remote lot. Call 601-360-8690 for real-time parking information.
