The inaugural Flowood Fashion Week officially kicks off today, launching a week-long celebration of local style, shopping, and community throughout the City of Flowood.

Running Sept. 21–27, Flowood Fashion Week brings together retailers across the city for exclusive promotions, new and seasonal collections, extended shopping hours, pop-up events, styling experiences, and other special activities.

Organized by the Flowood Fashion Board in partnership with Visit Flowood MS, the new citywide initiative showcases the boutiques, national brands, specialty shops, and locally owned businesses that make Flowood one of Mississippi’s premier shopping destinations.

Throughout the week, shoppers can follow the gold bows displayed at participating storefronts to identify official Fashion Week retailers. The bows also serve as a show of support for the Gabby Strong Foundation during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

SHOP FLOWOOD & WIN A $500 FLOWOOD SHOPPING SPREE

Shoppers can enter to win a $500 Flowood Shopping Spree with purchases made at participating Fashion Week retailers Sept. 21–27. Each eligible receipt counts as one entry, with no limit on the number of entries. Shoppers can scan the Fashion Week QR code at checkout and upload a photo of their receipt by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.

Each day of Flowood Fashion Week offers a new way to experience the city’s retail community:

• Monday, Sept. 21 | Opening Day — Kick off the week with new arrivals, seasonal trends, and exclusive Fashion Week specials.
• Tuesday, Sept. 22 | Fashion After Hours — Enjoy extended shopping hours, refreshments, and special after-hours experiences at select retailers.
• Wednesday, Sept. 23 | Behind the Seams — Follow along for featured collections, styling inspiration, fashion tips, and a closer look at participating retailers.
• Thursday, Sept. 24 at 9: 30 AM | Flowood Fashion Runway, Silent Auction, & Marketplace — Fashion Week’s signature event at Hilton Garden Inn Flowood, benefiting the Gabby Strong Foundation. Tickets still available for purchase at visitflowoodms.com/Flowood-fashion-week/.
• Friday, Sept. 25 | Local Love — Celebrate locally owned businesses through special collaborations, treats, pop-ups, and more.
• Saturday, Sept. 26 | Style Studio — Discover hands-on experiences, beauty events, workshops, and pop-ups at select retailers throughout Flowood.
• Sunday, Sept. 27 | The Final Edit — Enjoy one final day of Fashion Week shopping, and submit qualifying receipts before the $500 Shopping Spree Giveaway closes.

FASHION WITH A PURPOSE

Fashion Week’s signature event takes place Thursday, Sept. 24, at Hilton Garden Inn Flowood, bringing together fashion, shopping, and philanthropy in support of the Gabby Strong Foundation.

Guests are invited to arrive beginning at 9:30 a.m. to shop the Shop the Runway Marketplace, featuring local boutiques. The Flowood Fashion Runway begins at 10:30 a.m., showcasing looks from participating Fashion Week retailers while guests enjoy brunch and mimosas.

A Silent Auction will also be held in conjunction with the event, with proceeds benefiting the Gabby Strong Foundation in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The Mississippi-based foundation provides hope, encouragement and financial assistance to children battling cancer and their families.
